Looking back and moving forward

Since we first moved to France and set up Chatenet Holiday Gites in late 2020 there have been lots of changes. Mostly behind the scenes changes that no-one notices, replacing cookers, new fences, new bedding, that kind of thing. We've discovered that providing gite holidays is often about running just to stand still - 

But sometimes changes are more apparent - such as our new website and new website host www.promotemyplace.com 

Hopefully, this will allow us a more professional, customer facing site and one that allows us to be more interative and dynamic. We'll be able to keep you updated with life in our little oasis of nature here in the Charente-Maritime countryside. Often not well known outside of France - or even inside it!, there are such a wealth of history, culture, wine, food, markets, community (did I mention wine!) that it would be greedy to keep it all for ourselves.
